1. Why my 16GB pen drive show 14.4G only? is it not full capacity?
For hard disk manufacturer, one KB is 1000 bytes, one MB is 1000 KB, and one GB is 1000 MB. If a hard disk is advertised as 500GB, it contains 500 * 1000 * 1000 * 1000 = 500,000,000,000 bytes of space.
However, manufacturers of RAM dont sell it in even groups of 1000 - they use groups of 1024. When youre buying memory card or USB, a KB is 1024 bytes, a MB is 1024 KB, and a GB is 1024 MB. To work back from the 500,000,000,000 bytes above:
500,000,000,000 / (1024*1024*1024) = 465.66 GB
According to above calculation way, 4G is about 3.6G, 8G is about 7.2G, 16G is about is about 14.4G, 32G will show 28.8G.
2. Why the speed of my SD card and USB pen are very slow?
If you feel the speed are very slow, please try to use below software to test it. Please prepare USB 3.0 plug, USB 3.0 card reader or USB 3.0 cable before you run the test. Otherwise, the test result will be slow as normal.
